Hitler

It struck me tonight, while watching "Aguire, the Wrath of God" that Hitler wasn't some horrible anomaly in European history, but, rather, a logical next step. All Hitler did was take European attitudes towards the "other" and direct them toward a "civilized race." It wasn't strange, it wasn't out of the ordinary, and it should have been expected. Broaden the terms, that's all he did.

We humans are capable of amazing things. Oddly, unless we fanatical belief in our path, we can never do goodnor are we truly evil.
